Rockland Korean War Vets Honor Fallen Comrades [PHOTOS]

19th Monument Service at RCC remembers 27 who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The Rockland County Korean War Veterans Association Eagle Chapter held their 19th Monument Service for 27 Rocklanders who gave their lives during service in the Korean War on Sunday afternoon at the Onderdonk Veterans Cemetery at Rockland Community College.

The service was held in front of the Rockland Korean War Veterans monument which bears the names of 27 Rocklanders killed during the war. Members of the local Korean community were in attendance along with several politicians and about 50 other veterans, spouses and family members.
