Clinton Visit Nets $100,000 for Fried Campaign

Over 200 people attended a reception held by former President Bill Clinton for Democratic Rockland County Executive Candidate David Fried Tuesday at the Nyack Speaport in Downtown Nyack.

Fried, a former Spring Valley Justice, served as an aide to Clinton, then later to First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and Vice President Al Gore.

"By coming to Rockland County, President Clinton reminds all of us how important the stakes are in this election," said Rockland County Democratic Chairwoman Kristen Stavisky.

The event raised approximately $100,000 for the Fried campaign.
