THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF ROCKLAND COUNTY PRESENTS THE 37TH ANNUAL MINIATURE, DOLLHOUSE & ART EXHIBITION: "MEMORIES"

The Historical Society of Rockland County proudly announces the return of the ever-popular annual exhibition:  The 37th Annual Miniature, Dollhouse & Art Exhibition.  The exhibition will showcase the work of miniature artists, fine artists, quilters and dollhouse creators!  The exhibition will be curated by Joanne Potanovic.

Among this year’s participating artists and collectors are Sandra Mirque, Carolyn McErlean, Barbara Soloff-Levy, Rosemary Aiello, Ned Harris, Hallie Horning, Tamara Greeman, Lillian Alberti, Deborah Calyo, Mary Jane Sexton, George Potanovic, Jr. and Caroline Tapley, as well as pieces from the HSRC’s permanent collection. In keeping with this year’s celebration of memories, we have pieces created by and from the collection of Honey & Herb Soloway.

The exhibition will open on Sunday, November 18, 2012 and will extend through Sunday, March 3, 2013.  Regular exhibition hours will be Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm – 4pm. As this is a fund-raising exhibition, suggested admission will be $7.00 for adults and $5 for HSRC members and seniors and $3 children under 12 (children under 3 are free).   Please check our website often for events that will be offered throughout the run of this exhibition -- and as more information becomes available:  www.RocklandHistory.org

This exhibition will be open on Friday (11.23), Saturday (11.24) and Sunday (11.25) from noon to 4pm.

As has been an ongoing tradition, The Historical Society is also delighted to announce our annual raffle!  Five  lovely items will be offered as prizes with a total retail value of over $800.  Raffle tickets will be available throughout the duration of the exhibition!
