The community is cordially invited to attend the Center for Safety & Change (formerly the Rockland Family Shelter) Business Luncheon. This annual event was established in 2006 to recognize businesses that work to end violence against women in the community. The two award recipients this year will be Maria Luisa Whittingham, proprietor of Maria Luisa Boutique and ML Accessories, and BNY Mellon Wealth Management. The keynote speaker will be Michele Phillips, the noted author and motivational speaker who will talk about the power of self-esteem in the workplace. The event is sponsored in part by Active International, BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Credit Renaissance and Orange & Rockland Utilities.
