Super Sunday at Jewish Federation of Rockland

The Jewish Federation of Rockland County’s annual phone-a-thon, “Super Sunday” will raise money to help those in need in Rockland County, in Israel and in 63 countries around the world. Super Sunday will be held on January 27th at the Rockland Jewish Community Campus in West Nyack, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. There will be additional opportunities to volunteer in the evenings of January 29th and January 31st.

Members of the community, politicians, leaders of various Jewish organizations and area teens will be on hand to make calls. Children will be able to participate in a fun “Shalom Sesame” Mitzvah Mission organized by Rockland Federation’s PJ Library. The children’s Super Sunday Mitzvah Mission begins at 11:30 AM on the 27th and will include crafts, lunch, a movie and a visit from Sesame Street’s Elmo.

The Rockland Federation invites members of Rockland’s Jewish community to help with our annual campaign by becoming Super Sunday volunteers. Free babysitting is available from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM on January 27th for volunteers who pre-register. Please sign up to volunteer online at www.jewishrockland.org/supersunday or call Jill Zarensky at 845-362-4200, ext. 121.
