GraceMusic Presents "Dona Nobis Pacem"

To commemorate the 100th
anniversary of the First World War, the Grace Episcopal Choir and Orchestra
perform Duruflé's beautiful and moving Requiem. Additionally, choral
works by Bach, Casals, and Fauré along with readings of selected poetry and
letters will guide the audience through the many faces of war.  World War I changed the face and future of Europe and the world. War

and its unpredictable tide has fascinated artists throughout history. The

anniversary of World War I calls for a thoughtful look at relevant music and

writing, which GraceMusic seeks to provide in “Dona Nobis Pacem,” the final concert of its 44th
season.  Grace Episcopal Church, 130 First Ave., Nyack, NY 10960.  Tickets: $20; Seniors $15; Students $5.  A
"Meet-the-Artists" reception follows concert.  For more information visit www.gracemusic.info or call (845)

358-1297.
