The Architecture and Life of Frank Lloyd Wright
Why do the buildings of America’s greatest architect still excite people 50 years after his last design was completed, and what can we learn from them about ourselves? In this illustrated lecture, architects Dale Laurin and Anthony Romeo discuss these questions in relation to the poet Eli Siegel's principle “all beauty is a making one of opposites, and the making one of opposites is what we are going after in ourselves.” Both Romeo and Laurin are in the architecture unit of New York City Department of Design & Construction and are on the faculty of the Aesthetic Realism Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to the understanding of, and greater respect for, people, art, and reality. Pre-register online at http://bit.ly/1bgNdSR or call 845-359-3877.
