Teens interested in learning about farming are invited to the first meeting of the Cropsey Community Farm Youth Group. The group is being organized by a Clarkstown South High School Senior Corrine Quirk as part of her Gold Award for Girl Scouts. The youth group for boys and girls ages 13 to 18 will work on the farm, raise money for the farm, and get involved in events related to Cropsey and farming in general. Some of the potential topics, include cooking lessons and seasonal produce. Interested teens should contact her at corrinequirk@gmail.com.
