A free screening of the film " Forks Over Knives" will be followed by a panel discussion. The film explores the connection between food and health and how we can avoid ‘the knife’ by making changes in how we eat.
After the film Lisa Kaess will moderate a panel featuring Dr. Sheryl Leventhal of Hudson Valley Functional Medicine; Paul Alward of Veritas Farms, New Paltz based farm which supplies the Rockland Jewish Federation CSA; and Susan Azcuy, a JCC member who will share a powerful testimonial about her success changing her diet and health.
