A fundraiser featuring Oscar White, to benefit RSVP, (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) is scheduled on Sunday October 24, 2010. Oscar White has been a professional photographer for most of his adult life and has photographed many nationally known figures in the arts and government including four United States Presidents. Mr. White will talk about his interaction and conversations with some of his distinguished subjects and give a demonstration of photographic lighting techniques.
Mr. White's work is in the collection of the New York Historical Society, American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters, the Museum of the City of New York, the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Institute and is the author of "Portrait Photography" (Prentice Hall).
Light Refreshments will be served.
