The Rockland Job Network (RJN) is helping the unemployed to stay motivated, network and be focused in their job search. We hold FREE open forum discussions for job seekers and career changers. Topics include: best practices – networking -- career planning – resources -- motivational support. It is a platform for information and speakers who can help, teach and encourage. We embrace a “pay-it-forward” philosophy and are accountable to each other through our attendance at meetings and after we have landed. If you are searching for a job, changing careers or under-employed, please join our energetic and caring group. Hopefully you will feel restored and re-invigorated in your career planning and search.

This Meeting’s Topic: NETWORKING STORIES – This meeting will be about connecting to others, a sharing of our own stories, networking on a different level. We all have stories about those who have helped us along our way. A kind word, information or connection which led to some opportune synchronistic effect or event. These stories are what we mean by networking in its truest sense. Join us as we discuss and tell our stories about the spirit of a “pay-it-forward” philosophy, helping others and how we wind up getting helped in return. Those chance meetings and events with surprising outcomes that linger in our memories. So come and share your stories. We’d love to hear them!
