Join our family community for a free special themed breakfast in honor of Shavuot, the holiday celebrating the receiving of the Torah.
Following breakfast, we will have 2 activities : Music and Storytime (for nursery school-age children with families) and Family Scavenger Hunt (K-5 students with families).
The Torah Cafe features:
-- 7 Species Pancakes [Pancakes made with wheat and barley and olive oil, topped with grapes, figs, pmoegranates, and dates]
-- Torah French Toast [Lightly battered challah, made to look like a Torah]
-- Scrambled Eggs ... from a shooed away mother [Light and fluffy, these eggs remind us of the Biblical commandment to collect eggs only if the mother chicken is not around]
-- Moses' Cereal Bar [Nosh on some of Moses' favorite breakfast cereals]
