The Rockland District Committee of the Boy Scouts of America honored Rockland County Executive Ed Day on Sunday, April 27 with the prestigious "2014 Rockland District Community Support Award."
The honor is given to an individual or business, within Rockland County, that has provided extraordinary and ongoing support to the Boy Scouts.
Specifically, Day was recognized for his extensive contribution to the promotion of the ideals of Boy Scouting. His support has enabled the Rockland District to strengthen the youth services and further the Scouting movement in Rockland County.
