Help A Woman Battling Kidney Failure

Myrianne “Nounouche” Austrel, was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2013. Austrel is the daughter of Fritz and Claudette Joseph, who have supporting her through the treatments and intensive medical care required to deal with kidney failure. However the life threatening disease is taking a toll and her health is deteriorating.

She and her parents hope the treatments will be able to save part of the kidney that is still functioning. If that is not possible, then a kidney transplant will be required.

Friends are seeking donations for her medical care because the Spring Valley resident recently exhausted her COBRA health benefits and her parents are both retired.

Murielle M. D'Haïti-Saluja wrote on the GoFundMe page for her friend, “I’m sure we can all recall one (out of possibly many) instance, with the goodness of their hearts, when Fritz and Claudette came through for each one of us.”

She is asking friends and family to support the fund, which is dedicated to Austrel’s health and incurring medical expenses. In less than two weeks, $310 of the $7,500 goal has been raised.
