Princesses, Villains Treat Or Treat At Jawonio

The super heroes, princesses and villains at Jawonio were doubly excited about today’s Halloween Parade because it had been canceled last year due to Hurricane Sandy.  Students dressed as Superman, witches, Spiderman, Thomas The Tank Engine princesses, Iron Man, Captain Hook and characters from Cars paraded in front of the entrance and collected candy from costumed Jawonio staffers. Some parents also in costume joined their children for the event at the Katzen Early Childhood Center in New City.

Mason McGwyne-Dantis, dressed up as Captain Hook complete with a feather in his cap. His mother, Michelle, said the three year old from Blauvelt had been talking about the parade for days.

Abigail Weaver and her four year old twin brother Roger dressed up as a princess and Superman.
