Before You Vote On Tuesday!

Besides the many candidates running in important local elections this year, there are SIX proposed amendments to the New York State Constitution on the ballot. I suggest you visit the Rockland County Board of Elections website and read your sample ballot before going to your polling location. You can also look up your polling location at the same time. Since many polling locations were recently changed, this small effort will save you time when you go out to vote on Tuesday.

Please exercise your right to vote this Tuesday. Local elections may be more important to your everyday life than even a Presidential election. No system of government is perfect, but ours is the best thing going. If more people took the time to vote, our system of government would function even better. In addition, many have given their lives for you to have this opportunity. Please respect their sacrifice and get out the vote this Tuesday!
