Mobile Office Weekend and Youth Fest!

Mobile Office Services available both days this weekend. Come on out and license your dog, renew your parking permit, or access many of the other services our office offers.

I am pleased to announce that I will be offering weekend hours, via mobile office, on Saturday, March 10, 2012 and Sunday, March 11, 2012.  Residents will have the benefit of utilizing the Town Clerk’s services on a day that might be more convenient for them, without having to take time off work.  Setting up mobile offices at different locations throughout the community serve as a further convenience to our residents, so that they may complete multiple errands at the same time.

The next mobile office location will be on Saturday, March 10 at the West Nyack Shop Rite on Route 59, from 10AM to 12PM.  Forms, applications and free Notary Services will be available, dog licenses will be processed, Super Saver bus tickets will be sold, Nanuet Train Station and handicapped parking tags will be issued.

I will also be offering mobile office hours and community outreach at the Rockland County Youth Bureau’s YouthFest at the Rockland Community College Eugene Levy Fieldhouse, this Sunday, March 11 from 11AM to 4PM. The Youth Fest is an annual opportunity for local organizations and businesses that support young people to showcase their programs, services and products. Many local elected officials and members of County Government will be in attendance. This is a great opportunity for young people to find out more about all their community has to offer. More information about the Youth Fest is available by contacting the Rockland County Youth Bureau at (845) 638-5166.

Mobile Office events enhance our residents ability to complete their business with the Town Clerk’s Office, and receive current information about Town services, without having to make a special trip to Town Hall during working hours.  This Saturday, residents can do business with the Town Clerk’s Office while doing their grocery shopping! On Sunday, residents can conduct business with the Town Clerk's Office or find out about the Town’s many services while attending the Youth Fest.  Future dates and locations of the Clarkstown Town Clerk’s mobile office and weekend hours will be available on our web site, www.clarkstownclerk.com.  For further information, please call me at (845) 639-2010 or email me at j.sweet@clarkstown.org.
