Quick Baked Ziti

This recipe is quick, from pantry to oven to table. Its that Simple!

Kids love baked Ziti. For them its the ultimate yummy gooey comfort food, its the American Lasagna only less mess. So its good to have all the necessary ingredients on call. Although making Baked Ziti from scratch is amazing, making from the box is quite appetizing too. You can add meat or vegetables of your choice to make it your own. This recipe is quick from pantry to oven to table, its that simple!

Disclaimer: All ingredients are dry instead of fresh

Ingredients:

Boxed Ziti
Low fat Ricotta Cheese
Grated low moisture Mozzarella Cheese
Basil Flakes
Oregano Flakes
Garlic Powder
Powdered black pepper
Any Jarred Pasta Sauce (I used Arabbiatta for more spice)

Directions:

Boil 2 cups of Pasta well with a little salt and few drops of olive oil
In a bowl add 5 tbsp Ricotta+ 3 tbsp mozzarella, Mix well
Add few splashes of Basil, Oregano, Garlic Powder and black pepper to taste into the Cheese mixture.
Whip it well. Keep aside
Take a greased baking dish, spread half the boiled pasta and mix half the cheese mixture and add 1 cup of pasta sauce into it, Mix well together.
Add the rest of Pasta and remaining cheese mixture and 1 cup more of sauce, Mix well
This will create another layer.
Spread some Mozzarella cheese over it.
Cover with Aluminum foil and bake in Medium heat at 375 degrees for 40 minutes
Remove foil and Broil it open for 3 minutes at 450 degrees to create a crust on top.
Garnish with Parmesan Cheese
Enjoy with Garlic Bread toast!
