Rockland County Builders and Remodelers Association (RCBRA) Endorses Ed Day for County Executive

First Official Endorsement in History of Organization

Pearl River, NY (October 9, 2013) - County Executive candidate Ed Day has earned another endorsement to add to his growing list of unions, civic groups, local leaders, and law enforcement organizations.

Gregg Smith, President of the Rockland County Builders and Remodelers Association, today announced that the organization had decided to make its first ever official endorsement:

"In the longstanding history of the Rockland County Builders and Remodelers Association, we may have quietly supported a candidate who share the collective agendas of the local construction industry.

"However, in this difficult economy where we all have struggled, especially the local construction industry, we feel it is imperative to, for the first time, officially endorse Ed Day for County Executive.  In discussing the local economy with Ed, he possess both the fiscal responsibility and the business acumen to take this county out of the recessive state where it is currently mired.

"Our association is throwing its support behind candidate Ed Day in the hopes that he becomes the next County Executive."

The Rockland County Builders & Remodelers Association is a non-profit trade association charted in 1953, affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders and the New York State Builders Association. It is comprised of members of the building industry and related businesses, and provides networking, educational and social opportunities.
