Viva Warner! Silent Art Auction to Benefit Warner Library

Viva Warner! Silent Art Auction to benefit Library happening throughout the month of October.

We're very excited to announce the Silent Art Auction now hanging in the Library Gallery. Thanks to the generosity of local artists who have donated their work to benefit the library we have: oil paintings, watercolors, photographs, woodcuts, brass rubbings, pottery and more. Among the 60 pieces on display is a bamboo broach designed by an artist who formerly worked for Tiffany & Co. 100% of the proceeds will go toward building improvements and programs at the library.

The community is encouraged to come to see the artwork and place bids on their favorite pieces.  The silent auction launched October 1 and will continue until October 31. There will be a reception on October 20 from 2-4 p.m. Everyone is invited to celebrate the generosity of the artists.

You can see the artwork online at warnerlibrary.org/viva. If you are unable to come to the library to place a bid, we will be happy to help you over the phone at 631-7734. Here is a sampling of the artwork.

The art work is beautiful! I was very impressed and will go back when I have more time. Though if I were smart, I would say it's all ugly so that nobody bids against me!

The art is fantastic. They have both local settings and beyond. Anyone looking for an interesting piece should check it out.
