Timothy James Heim, 19, of New City passed away on June 12, 2014.
He is survived by his loving family and friends. Tim was born on July 1, 1994 to Gil and Eileen Heim. He is survived by his heartbroken brothers, Gilby and Nick (fiancée Meghan Maguire), sister Amanda, and Buddy, his dog.
Tim graduated from Clarkstown South High School in 2012. He attended East Stroudsburg University.
He worked for the IBEW Local Union 363 as an apprentice electrician. Tim enjoyed all sports and weight lifting. He loved football the most. He started in Pop Warner and played all throughout high school. He felt a close bond with his teammates.
Tim is also survived by his beloved grandparents, John and Peggy Hanigan and Gilbert and Loretta Heim; his beloved Aunts and Uncles: John and Mimi Falkenstern, Andrea and Anne D'Andrea, John and Nok Hanigan, Jim and Maura Hanigan, Beth Hanigan Abt, Michael and Colleen Hanigan, Joseph and Mary Mileo, John and Michele Heim, Matt and Ann Sullivan, Tom and Larinda Heim, and Michael and Luisa Heim. Tim is also survived by his cherished cousins: John, Cirah, Joe, James, Daniel and Zach Falkenstern, Joe D'Andrea, Patrick, Shawn and Christina Hanigan, Jacklynee, James and Julianna Hanigan, Maxwell and Harrison Abt, Michael and Thomas Hanigan, Joseph, Julia, and Olivia Mileo, Jenna and Danny Heim, Tyler, Madison and D.J. Sullivan, Samantha, Anthony and Jerry Heim, and Nicky and Paige Heim.
Family will receive friends on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, 11:30am, at St. Anthony's Parish Church followed by interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Timothy J. Heim Memorial Football Scholarship Fund that will be presented to a graduating football senior from Clarkstown South each year, 169 South Main Street #328, New City, NY 10956.
