Patricia E. Schnell, 53, of Tomkins Cove, NY passed away at Nyack
Hospital on May 12, 2014.
Born in Hackensack, NJ on August 24, 1960, she resided in Westwood, NJ before moving to West Palm Beach, Fla.
She spent a brief time there before settling in Rockland County. Patty was a gifted florist, working in New City for many years.
She will best be remembered by her friends and family for her creative and delicious food. Patty would spend hours in the kitchen, always making everyone their favorite foods. Patty will also be remembered for her beautiful flower arrangements. Her home was never without fresh flowers. She was a devoted grandmother and adored her grandchildren. She treasured times spent with them.
Her sudden passing has left a tremendous hole in the hearts of her
family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Beloved mother to children Caitlin Schnell and son in law, Steven Dalonzo of Norwalk, Ct and Jaime Loffredo of Middletown, NY. Devoted grandmother to Dominic, Christina and Carissa. Loving daughter of Ursula Javenes of Tomkins Cove, NY, loving sister of Susan Johnson and her husband, Tom of Lilburn, Ga. and Ursula Callaghan and her husband Jimmy of Washington Township, NJ. Devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Patty was sadly predeceased by her sister Michele Bartley and father John Bartley. There was a memorial service May 19 at Hannemann Funeral Home in Nyack.
