George Liberis MD recently sang a moving rendition of "God Bless America" at the Congers Valley Cottage Rotaries Italian American Festival. Born and educated in Greece, George Liberis sang at the University at Athens and the Bolshoi Theater in St. Petersburg, Russia, and in stadiums throughout Europe.
After moving his young family to this country, he eventually settled in Rockland County to specialize in advanced surgery and critical care, establishing his practice in New City.
Never losing his enjoyment of singing, he is currently in the Saints Constantine and Helen choir and the Rockland Choral Society and doesn't turn down requests.
