A 19-year-old Rockland County man is being held in the county jail in New City after being arrested twice within two days.
Matthew J. Pinnock of 1 Johnson Dr., Stony Point, was charged with second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment after an investigation of a domestic incident on Tuesday, according to Stony Point police.
Police said Pinnock is accused of harassing and placing a family member in fear of physical injury. He was arrested, processed and arraigned by Judge Frank Phillips on ordered held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility on $2,500.00 bail pending a hearing on Thursday.
A day before, Pinnock was stopped by police for a traffic violation and he was found to be driving with a suspended license. He was charged with:
- Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Failing to Surrender his suspended license
- Vehicle and Traffic violations
- And, possession of marijuanna.
At that time, he was released on $100 bail pending a Sept. 18 hearing in Stony Point Town Court.
