Clarkstown police report the arrest of 19-year-old Alexa Mishkel of Nyack on DWI charges. Poice observed her vehicle traveling east in the westbound lanes of Route 59 just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1. She was a driving a 2000 Honda that was stopped on Smith Street in Nanuet.
Mishkel failed field sobriety tests and later failed a breathalyzer test. She is due to appear in court on Dec. 10 on charges of aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol count of greater than .18 and DWI, both misdemeanors.
