Two New Jersey residents are accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of perfume from a store at Palisades Center mall in West Nyack, according to Clarkstown Police.
Police said Meecah Kelly, 23, of East Orange, NJ, and Darcy Rivera, 21, of Newark, NJ, were charged with fourth-degree grand larceny Thursday after a loss prevention officer at the Sephora store said he saw the pair take 12 bottles of perfume and try to leave the store without paying at about 6:45 p.m.
Kelly and Rivera were released pending an Aug. 31 hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.
