Clarkstown Police report a pedestrian accident is the reason for the closure of New Clarkstown Road between West Clarkstown Road and Smith Road. Sgt. Chris Brigando said the accident occurred around 6 p.m. and police officers and medics were on the scene. No additional details were available.
