Car Fire Damages West Nyack House

An early morning car fire in West Nyack on Phillips Lane also damaged the exterior of the nearby house. The homeowner was woken by the sound of the alarm going off after the car’s engine caught fire. 

Clarkstown Police and the West Nyack Fire Department responded and found the fire spread to the passenger compartment of the 1997 Nissan. No injuries were reported. The car was parked in the driveway about 10 feet from the house. The fire damaged the house’s exterior and the driveway.
