Career Criminal Sentenced To 15 Years For Drug Conviction

Genghis Khan, 24, of Brooklyn has been sentenced to a 15-year prison term after being sentenced for a drug conviction. A jury found Khan, who has a history of four prior felony convictions, guilty of one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on September 19. 

Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe said New York State Troopers stopped Khan on the thruway in Clarkstown on April 30, 2012 and found approximately five ounces of cocaine and marijuana in his possession. Khan’s jury trial began on February 25 of this year.
