Drugged Driving Sentence Includes Jail Time, Interlock Device and More

The Queens man had a previous conviction for the same thing.


A Queens man was sentenced March 21 by the Honorable Charles Apotheker, County Court Judge, to 173 days in jail, five years probation, an Ignition Interlock Device for the term of probation, a $1,000 fine, $520 mandatory surcharges and the defendant’s driver’s license was suspended for one year. 

Michael Milonas a/k/a Michael Milomas, 48, had pleaded guilty Sept. 16, 2013 to Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs as a Felony.

He had a previous Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs conviction. 

According to District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe, he was picked up Jan. 8, 2013 at about 11:21 p.m., while driving northbound on I-87 through Clarkstown.
