Thanks for the reporting. Do you, Robin, ever wonder why the Justice Court in Clarkstown had not updated its records since 2009?.....http://town.clarkstown.ny.us/html/justice_court_statistics.html

og January 5, 2014 at 08:59 am Heywood, if you do the math, you will see that the overwhelming majority of cases, about 85% are traffic related. But why is the Clarkstown Justice Court hiding the statistics? Taxpayers have a right to know. I asked Robin Traum, the writer of this article the same question and perhaps he will be able to find out? My requests to Clarkstown Justice Court fall on deaf ears.

Watchdog/jacksprat/Paul Williams/ mr. M...... You are exhausting..... if you are truly interested in knowing the answer to your seemingly never ending question....why don't you seek out the FBI stats. I am sure a man of your vast experience and knowledge is aware that the town is required to report their stats every year......but I suspect you don't really want to know...
Watchdog January 05, 2014 at 03:32 PM
I pay my taxes to Clarkstown not the FBI. The Town should make this information available to taxpayers who pay their salaries., It seems that the corrupt politicians in Clarkstown want to hide information from the taxpayers and you have to wonder why. They seem to think they have to answer to no one. But they are wrong.
Clarkstown life January 05, 2014 at 03:49 PM
ok....so i was right, you dont really want to know the information, you just want to moan and groan. I am also sure you could obtain it via a foil request too. These are just additional suggestions to obtain the information you constantly ask for, but i am sure you will just continue to complain.

Taxpayers pay a lot of money to support the Court system and the Police, the least they could do is to supply the statistics to see if we are getting our money's worth here in Mayberry. Stop your moaning and groaning or I will report you to your boss for harassing taxpayers.

Information on all the unsolved crimes is sorely lacking. You would think that any elite PD would boast about the number of unsolved crimes if it was a low number.? But what is the number for Clarkstown?
Clarkstown life January 05, 2014 at 06:43 PM
Jack M....if you were getting your services for FREE you would still complain that you were not getting your money's worth. Nothing will satisfy you. Like you, I am a long time resident and taxpayer. Report ME to my boss? What are you even talking about?
Watchdog January 05, 2014 at 07:14 PM
There is no such thing as FREE in Clarkstown. And please refer to me as MR. Watchdog. We overpay for everything but especially for police protection and they won't even tell us what they do, except for the 85% traffic related "crimes". Do you know how many I solved crimes we have in Clarkstown?

ok clewsow. i informed you on how to obtain the information you want. i am not the curious one or the one complaining. again, i suppose you really don't want the answer but 'a' platform for your nonsense.

http://town.clarkstown.ny.us/html/justice_court_statistics.html....Why does the Town refuse to update its website on crime statistics? Just what are they hiding?
