Accident investigators are hoping to be able to speak with John King of New City about what led to the 2:20 p.m. accident involving his 2003 Lincoln Towncar at Dalewood Court and Shetland Drive in New City. The car slammed into a tree in front of a home on Shetland and came to a halt in front of the home.
had to use rescue gear to free King from the damaged car. Police said detectives have not been able to interview King because of his condition.
