New City man charged with drug possession.

Drug possession charge

A New City man questioned as police were investigating a suspicious incident has been arrested on a drug charge, according to Stony Point Police.

Jesse K. Isaacs, 38, of 21A Laurel Road, New City, was charged after an Oct. 30 incident. Police said he was accused of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after he was found to have 19 Xanax pills for which he did not have a prescription.

Isaacs was arrested and later released pending a Dec. 6 hearing in Stony Point Town Court.

Harassment charged

A Mahwah, NJ, man was charged with second-degree harassment in connection with a Nov. 1 incident, according to Stony Point Police.

Police said Austin E. Parks, 41, of 914 Thoreau Court, was arrested after an investigation of an incident in which Parks is accused of threatening another person.

Parks was arriagned in West Haverstraw Village Court and ordered held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City pending a hearing.

Petty larceny warrant

James H. Woolard, 57, of 19 Old Nyack Turnpike, Monsey, was arrested on Oct. 25 on charges of attempted petty larceny and trespassing after a warrant investigation, according to Stony Point Police.

Police said Wollard was turned over to Ramapo Police Department base on warrants for his arrest.

Contempt of court charge

Charles Conklin, 57, of 12 S. Highland Ave., Nyack, was arrested on Oct. 24 on a charge of criminal contempt, according to Stony Point Police.

Police said Conklin was arrested after a domestic violence investigation determined he violated a Family Court “stay away” Order of Protection. Conklin was arrested, processed, arraigned by the Stony Point Town Judge Frank Phillips and released pending a hearing.
