Why did Clarkstown School District send this out? That address is in the Nyack School District. Not often you hear of a convict doing the whole sentence anymore. Must have been a real winner behind bars.

It is also interesting that the Clarkstown School District was informed but the community of disabled people, "the address that is listed as his residence" were ALSO NOT INFORMED. There are also a lot of children living in the area surrounding the development of apartments built for the disabled....some of the most vulnerable who have a hard time walking (if they can walk at all). I am very familiar with the Pine Street Homes apartments and residents. There are a some woods behind the Pine Street Homes development..... My opinion, two of the most heinous crimes to me are 1) Murder: When it is not in self-defense and 2) Rapists.

Parts of Central Nyack, behind the Community Center and the Volkswagen dealership actually attend Clarkstown schools.

He has lived in that apartment since he was a child. This is not news to anyone in the neighborhood. It also wasn't news about the guy who was the subject of last week's "notification."

Pine Street Homes apartments did not exist when he was a child. They were built around apartments which have existed for many years.....Realisticly, considering he went into prison for rape at a young age, he was therefore socialized in the prison enviornment..... What does "moderate risk" to offend again mean anyway? With some thought, being socialized within the prison environment more often than not, does not rehabilitate, it hardens "most" humans even more and further desensitizes them to the pain others experience. Also, many, not all, learn "tricks" of being better criminals and intimidation artists... Therefore, IF in this "moderate risk" he RAPES someone again you can be certain he's learned "DON'T GET CAUGHT". Therefore, NO WITNESS(ES). Yes, I am implying the next most horrid type of crime: Murder. Is this dialogue coming from a place of fear? Of course it is. When someone understands that the so called "rehabilitation" system of prison DOES NOT WORK for hardened criminals (being socialized in a prison environment) in many cases creates the "opposite" of what it whas "labled" to do. If it weren't for the fact that many innocent people (of color) go to jail I would be for the death penalty in the cases of 1)Murder: not in self defense and 2) RAPE.

Is he a hardened criminal? When it comes to the subject(s) of and about "women and children" and their safety the answer is: YES! The part of society "least" able to defend themselves. Rape is such a heinous crime....
Concerned Human January 30, 2013 at 10:51 PM
And yes, it is news to some in the neighborhood. Some did not know anything about this....

What, no map? Oh that's right, we only put law abiding citizens on those. I'm sure this guy is much less dangerous than a pistol permit.
Concerned Human January 31, 2013 at 08:05 AM
Interesting, "...this guy is much less dangerous than a pistol permit". It implies safety of women, 2nd class citizens in a patriarchal society & mind set: A history of mens' violence against women doesn't mean much. "1 of 3 women in the U.S. have been raped or sexually assaulted in their lifetime. "Most unreported". Still, in the minds of many men, (unless it's a mother, wife, sister, daughter or grandchild of a man...women issues are non issues. The female gender must function within confines due to risks the male predator poses creating loss of freedoms. There ARE freedoms the male gender has which go unnoticed by them. Why? They aren't confronted by issues the female gender is...; same way most able bodied people aren't confronted by issues people with disabilities are, i.e ramps. Most women, if men asked & listened, have a long list of cautions. Then again, rapists (usually men) are generally "friends of family, someone dated or EVEN a family member". Question IS, what is a woman to do? Or should it be "what should MEN do"? Count when you see women 1-2-(3")... that's a too many. Decades of abuse. A man's view? "...much less dangerous than a pistol permit. WOW! Women for the most part ARE NOT the perpetrators of this crime. Men need to figure out what to do to stop men from committing the crime of rape. THANK GOODNESS for movements over decades fighting against MENS violence against women (no thanks to most men: TRUTH). Tip of the iceburg ARE AT LEAST going to prison now!

My statement above may be perceived as male bashing to some, but to others it's merely being truthful. "If it walks and quacks like a duck what is it? A duck.
Son of Liberty January 31, 2013 at 10:10 PM
Ummm It was sarcasm... A pistol permit isn't dangerous as it is a piece of plastic A sex offender is obviously more dangerous to everyone and the point was that these guys should be on a map and not people who have done nothing except obtaining a lawful document enabling them to legally own a handgun Nobody said anything about women, this isn't, oh for God's sake...I don't even know why I'm explaining this (audible sigh)
Son of Liberty February 01, 2013 at 03:31 PM
It was a sarcastic statement relating to the recent publishing of a map containg the addresses of legal pistol permit owners by the Journal News. It should not even have to be stated that a sexual predator is more dangerous than a law abiding citizen who has chosen to take responsibility for their own safety. My point is that maybe a map of the sex offenders would make more sense. Also, as a man, I think you are way way way off base and your comments are incredibly hateful towards men. But you certainly have the right to your opinion.
Concerned Human February 01, 2013 at 09:33 PM
: ) Thank you for clearing that up for me Son of Liberty. Honestly, not hateful towards men. Just speaking candidly about the past and present: All documented over the years... I tried to communicate the message properly by using the words "many, most, usually and/or generally". And you are right about the "maps". I actually have some real "hardline" ideas about what might be done to those perpetrating sex crimes.... Again, thank you Son of Liberty. I appreciate YOUR honesty and candidness. It's the only way misunderstandings or confusions get clarified. Our country needs this in it's core....actually "the world", well the world is beautiful it's the many "two-leggards"....with the issues and because of "two-leggard" issues even the planet is at risk.... That's another box....
Concerned Human February 01, 2013 at 09:38 PM
Also not ashamed to admit that sometimes certain sarcasims and jokes alike go right over my head. : )
Concerned Human February 01, 2013 at 09:50 PM
Sons of Liberty I have re-read what I wrote, reflected on what I was feeling while I was writing, and due to my "misunderstanding of the sarcasim", I was in a state of "shock" at "...pistal permit". I've had to help these women...and children... in some way over the years. It would have been difficult for me to see the sarcasm
Concerned Human February 01, 2013 at 10:03 PM
I even mispelled the word "sarcasm(s)" a couple of time. : )

I completely agree with Concerned human. This man has shown he is not rehabilitated. He is still stalking women, making up stories to get them to go out with him. Then trapping them to be his girl and do what he says, when we found out he's married to someone he used while he was in jail and degrades. One of the females I know personally. Hes playing tricks to beat the system. Hes walking with a intimidating attitude, lying to many people, giving them stories to use their cars and phone to call her and make threats so she will be too scared to call the police. He aims at weak minded, naive yet innocent hard working people. But he doesn't scare me, and he better beware of my path. Its horrible to know the court decides to let people out that served their full term, when they know hes been in so many fights while inside, among other things, and that's why he never got paroled. His home is jail, no matter if this new address was his old home as a child or not. He only knows jail life and will go back happily. Why didnt he get proper counseling?? If he refused, why didnt he get more time or assigned to it when he got out?? NO PAROLE OR PROB for this type of crime?? Really?? Its men like him that make women HATE all men. There are many like him out there still, so I don't think what Concerned said was hateful. It was the absolute truth. And if you think being sarcastic about a matter this heinous, is cute, Son of BS, you just wait til something like this happens to you or your loved ones. And it may because he's still on the loose! Then you'll feel you should've had more respect towards innocent women. smh This is why we still have missing people and murders. No one cares about their own neighbors anymore.
