Clarkstown police responded June 4 to Destination Maternity, located at Rockland Plaza in Nanuet, for a report of employee theft.
An employee is alleged to have processed fraudulent returns and taken merchandise over the last few months worth $1,048.
The employee, Ashley Brown, 22, of West Haverstraw, was arrested and charged with grand larceny 4th (felony) and falsifying business records 1st (felony).
She was released on an appearance ticket and will return to Clarkstown Justice Court on June 25.
