Two Nanuet Men Stabbed In Central Nyack

Two men from Nanuet were stabbed during an altercation early Monday morning in the parking lot of The Hub Shopping Center on Route 59 in Central Nyack. As of Monday afternoon, Clarkstown police reported no arrests had been made and their investigation was continuing.

The 30- and 25-year-old victims, who are unidentified, were stabbed just after 4 a.m. Police described the attacker as a black male about 30 years old. He reportedly stabbed them with a large bladed weapon.

The 30-year-old was stabbed in the abdomen and the 25-year-old male was stabbed in the upper part of one of his arms. They went to Nyack Hospital for treatment and their current conditions are not known.

Few details of the incident are available. According to Sgt. Jo Anne Fratianni, police do not know what led to the 30-year-old being stabbed. The second victim allegedly tried to stop the suspect who was fleeing and was also stabbed.
