are looking for two men who driver at gunpoint early Sunday in Nanuet.
Although the cab driver was not injured, one of the attackers put a handgun to the driver's neck as he demanded cash, according to police.
Clarkstown police said two men flagged a taxi on Main Street in Spring Valley at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday, asking to be taken to Forest Ridge Road in Nanuet. As the cab arrived at its destination, police said a passenger sitting behind the driver pulled out a gun and the second passenger shut off the cab and took the keys.
Police said the driver handed over an undetermined amount of cash and the two passengers ran off. The driver was able to give police a limited description of his attackers:
Passenger 1: A black man in his early 20s, about 5-foot-7, 175 pounds, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
Passener 2: BA black man in his early 20s, about 5-foot-5, 175 pounds, wearing a black t-shirt and khaki shorts.
No arrests have been made in connection with the robbery. Police ask that anyone with information related to this incident call them at 845-639-5800.
