Woman Pleads Guilty to Driving While on Drugs

25-year-old stopped by police on Thruway.

A woman indicted on charges of driving while her ability ws impaired by drugs on the New York State Thruway in Clarkstown has pleaded guilty in Rockland County Court in New City.

Danielle Sikula, 25, of 4107 Route 9g, Germantown, N.Y.,  pled guilty today to the felony charge. District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe said that on Feb. 22, at 2:14 a.m., Sikula was stopped while traveling northbound on the Thruway and found to be impaired by drugs.

Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 22 before the County Court Judge Charles Apotheker.
