In order to encourage dialogue between Albany and the veterans in Rockland, Senator David Carlucci will host his routinely scheduled Veterans Advisory Committee meeting VFW Ramapo Post 2973, 16 Ramapo Road in Suffern.
Some of the topics will include recently-passed Senate bills that incentivize small businesses to hire more veterans. Guest speaker Liz Kallen of the Rockland Economic Development Corporation, will discuss ways businesses can better market and sell their products to government agencies.
