The session will cover:
- Searching for a job via the internet
- Interviewing skills
- Resume writing
- Networking and Social Media in the Digital Age
The workshop will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Finkelstein Memorial Library at 24 Chestnut Street in Spring Valley. The seminar will take place inside the Fielding Room on the third floor. Residents are asked to RSVP by calling Senator Carlucci’s office at (845) 623-3627.
“In these tough economic times, every leg up to gain a competitive edge can make the difference between finding that new job and being left behind,” said Carlucci. “This Jobs Workshop will give those who remain unemployed or underemployed the tools they need to better their job prospects and renew their place in the workforce.”
