Go watch a baseball game and help out Jawonio. This event was rescheduled from July 26 because of the weather. Tickets can still be purchased. This event supports of Adult Employment and Day Services for People with Disabilities and Special Needs at Jawonio. Jawonio is the recipient of the 2nd Annual Active International Charity Challenge game, at Jawonio Night at Provident Bank Park.
The game is Tuesday, July 31 at 7 p.m. First 1,000 fans get free Jawonio rally towels from "Ramapo Collison" and first 500 get free t-shirts

The first general public meeting to discuss Rebuild Hi-Tor is 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2 at . The Hi Tor Animal Care Center is Rockland County’s only animal shelter, but is at risk of shutting down due to its lack of county funding and its poor facility conditions. Several members of the public teamed up with Hi-Tor to form a plan to save the shelter.
