Monel Will Run Economic Development for Rockland County

A Spring Valley resident with experience in information technology and marketing has been named Rockland County's Director of Economic Development. 

Calherbe Monel has worked in both the business and non-profit sectors.

"Calherbe's experience has given him a unique range of skills that will greatly benefit Rockland County," County Executive Ed Day said in a press release. "Economic growth is critical to the County's fiscal sustainability. I am confident that Calherbe will strengthen relationships with our existing business community while working to attract new jobs."
