Nyack Man Indicted in $13,000 Unemployment Fraud

D.A.: He filed for state benefits even though he was working in construction, home improvement.

A Nyack man has been indicted by a Rockland County grand jury in New City on charges he fraudulently received $13,300 in unemployment benefits while he was working in construction and home improvement.

, 48, of 81 Third Ave., Nyack, was indicted on one count of grand larceny in the third degree, a class “D” felony in connection with his filing for unemployment benefits between October 2010 and June 2011, according to Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe.

Naclerio’s arrest in 2011 resulted from an investigation by the Rockland County Special Investigations Unit and the state Department of Labor.
