NYS Nurses Association Endorses David Calucci (VIDEO)

The New York State Nurses Association announced its endorsement of Senator David Carlucci for the 38th State Senate District.  Members of the New York State Nurses Association gathered in front of Nyack Hospital with Carlucci on Thursday.

The New York State Nurses Association is the voice for nursing in the Empire State. With more than 37,000 members, it is the state's largest professional association and union for registered nurses. It supports nurses and nursing practice through education, research, legislative advocacy, and collective bargaining.

"We look forward to David Carlucci's advocacy for safe staffing levels for patients in every hospital across the state and for nurses who play a key role in delivering quality care," said Nancy Kaleda, the union's deputy director.

"I am proud to receive the endorsement of the Nurses Association," said Carlucci. "The association has done an excellent job in working to ensure that nurses can provide New Yorkers with quality health care. I look forward to continuing to work with NYSNA as we take on New York's health care challenges."
