As made his acceptance speech Thursday night at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC, he was being cheered on by Rockland County Democrats participating in the convention.
"It was an inspiring end to a great week," Assemblyman Kenneth Zebrowski, D-New City, said just after accepting the party's nomination for president.
Clarkstown Town Board member Stephanie Hausner, D-New City, said she thought both the president and vice president did a good job with their speeches.
"They both showed us a clear path on where they are going to take our country and the successes of the past four years," said Hausner. "There was a definite excitement in the crowd."
