The Rockland County Board of Elections needs Election Inspectors for the September 13 primary election and November 8 general election. Election Inspectors are paid $175 per day for working. Polls are open both days from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Election Inspectors will also be paid $25 for attending the certification class and $25 for participating in the pre-election instructional course.
New election inspector certification classes will be held Tuesday, August 2, Thursday, August 4 and Monday, August 8.
Tuesday August 2 classes at the Board of Elections, 11 New Hempstead Road, New City: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Thursday, August 4 classes at the Board of Elections, 11 New Hempstead Road, New City: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Monday, August 8 at the Board of Elections Suffern Warehouse, 100 Route 59, Suffern: 9:30 a.m. – 12: 30 p.m., 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
