Transportation, Housing and Police Reports On Tap for Town Board Workshop

Tappan Zee/I-287 slated for discussion.

 

The Clarkstown Town Board will discuss the latest developments concerning the and Route I-287 corridor with Principal Town Planner Joe Simoes at its workshop meeting on Tuesday night.  The draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) released last week includes a timeline for construction of a new Tappan Zee Bridge to replace the aging bridge. The DEIS also showed loss of several South Nyack properties due to the proposed design.

The ’s housing committee will report on its progress. Police Chief Michael Sullivan will give the monthly update on department calls, investigations and arrests.   The workshop begins at 7:30 p.m.
