It is so frustrating that in order for to eat healthy there is an increased cost!
I'm in the supermarket with my shopping list (provided by the wife via text) and looking to buy cereal. There are a million choices from the really cheap (2 for 1) right in the centered position shelf to the really good for you (double the price for half the size) tucked away in a far away land called the Organic Section.
I found myself looking for the best deals, comparing fiber content, no high fructose and box size. As I do this, a child with her mother passes by and says" Look mommy its Dora". SOLD!! The marketing Gods have won again!
So the daughter gets the Dora Prize in the box and Mom saves money! Win/Win
Don't do it parents! You have to start early but it is possible to get your child to eat healthy.
Im not perfect but we have to keep fighting the good fight!!
