Join the Rockland Community Foundation as We Honor Our First Responders!

On Thursday, October 10, the Rockland Community Foundation will honor our county's first responders at our annual benefit gala. The event will take place from 5:30-8:00 pm at the beautiful Hudson Water Club in West Haverstraw. News 12's Janine Rose will emcee the evening's festivities, and Cablevision will be on hand to cover the event. Join us as we honor the many first responders on hand, and thank them for the heroic work they do.

Our awards ceremony will be preceded by cocktails and a buffet dinner, plus a fabulous silent auction. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased by check made payable to the Rockland Community Foundation, or via the website at rocklandgives.org.

Please consider placing an ad in our event journal to show your thanks to these brave men and women, or sponsor a first responder to attend the evening and be recognized. Donations to the evening are tax-deductible and benefit the Foundation's general fund. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Go to rocklandgives.org or contact 947-2868 for more information.

About the Rockland Community Foundation

The Rockland Community Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life for all people in Rockland County by increasing charitable giving. Its mission is to connect people and businesses with the causes that matter most to them through the creation of funds, across a wide range of interests, that donors create and the Foundation stewards. A registered, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, it is governed by a local Board of Directors and an Advisory Board comprised of community leaders from both public and private sectors.

Community foundations put philanthropy within reach, offering the ability to establish funds that will continue to give for years to come, with tax benefits that donors can take advantage of now. Most importantly, the funds stay in the community, which means donors will see the impact of their contributions in the place they call home.
