New Grant Awards from the Rockland Community Foundation

The Rockland Community Foundation is pleased to announce that the Foundation's Active Cares Fund has awarded grants to the following non-profits:

Penguin Plunge - $1,000

Stony Point Seals - $1,000

NYS Troopers PBA Signal 30 Benefit Fund - $500

The donations are in support of activities the three groups are undertaking for specific families in need.

The Active Cares Fund is a rolling grant fund under the umbrella of the Rockland Community Foundation that seeks to serve the needs of the community across a range of charitable causes.

"We thank Active International for its commitment to support locally based causes," stated Rockland Community Foundation Board President Judge William Sherwood. "Our Active Cares Fund is one of many under the umbrella of the Rockland Community Foundation that is actively working to make a difference in our county. We are proud of the impact their donations have made in the community and look forward to the good work this fund will continue to do in the years to come."
